The Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC) participated in the 95th meeting of the executive board of the GCC Olympic Committees held yesterday on the sidelines of the third edition of GCC Games in Kuwait.
The QOC delegation was chaired by QOC Secretary General Jassim bin Rashid Al Buenain.
During the meeting, the executive board member and director of the third GCC Games Husain Al Musallam briefed the board members about the progress of the games.
The meeting also selected the United Arab Emirates to host the first edition of GCC Youth Games in 2023.
It also reviewed the GCC sports cooperation and came out with some important recommendations to enhance the GCC joint action in the sports and Olympic fields.
