Evacuation Bus Comes Under Enemy Fire In Luhansk Region


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) An evacuation bus has come under enemy fire in the Hirske community, Luhansk Region, but 18 people have been taken to safety.

The relevant statement was made by Luhansk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Haidai on Facebook , an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Under enemy fire, but we have managed to evacuate 18 people from the Hirske community! There are no safe routes anymore. The evacuation bus with civilians from the Hirske community came under enemy fire near Vrubivka. Fortunately, people are safe now,” Haidai wrote.

In his words, they are using any chance to rescue civilians. Evacuation efforts and the delivery of humanitarian aid are very complicated now. It is possible to make just one trip per day, while more and more people want to get evacuated.

A reminder that Russian troops are continuously shelling Luhansk Region. Many residential houses, infrastructure facilities, educational institutions and hospitals have been damaged and destroyed in the region.
