(MENAFN) Albania has encountered all the statuses for starting consent meets to EU membership, as noted by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.
Michel stated, “Accession talks should start as soon as possible.” His notes came at a news meet with Edi Rama, the Prime Minister, in Tirana, the Albanian capital, amid his second stay on a visit of western Balkan nations. He noted that the EU is doing the work to offer solid benefits for every Albanian as well as partners in the area.
Michel, who stressed about that Albania is one of the members of the European family, said, ''That means already accelerating integration now rather than waiting until accession negotiations are fully completed. In June, we will organize a meeting of the 27 EU leaders in Brussels with you and the other Western Balkan leaders.''
