Raisi: US attempt to suffocate Iranian economy failed
(MENAFN) Iranian Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ebrahim Raisi stated that the “maximum pressure” applied by Washington on Tehran was unsuccessful, and this is known by the U.S. government.
Raisi stated while on trip to West Azarbaijan Region in northwest Iran that “The White House spokesman admitted that maximum pressure against Iran has failed.”
“Maximum pressure” movement on Iran was presented by previous U.S. Leader Donald Trump, over such a plan, Trump planned to damage the Iranian economy.
Raisi also named the people of West Azarbaijan faithful border protectors who are dedicated to the principles of the Islamic Revolution.
Raisi stated in the city of Mianduab that “The residents of West Azerbaijan province are loyal border guards who have been defending values and the Islamic revolution.”
