(MENAFN) Based to the official numbers released by the Turkish Energy Transmission Corporation (TEIAS) on Sunday, daily electricity usage in Turkey declined by 4.01 percent on Saturday in comparison to the last day, standing at 812,605 megawatts per hours.
According to TEIAS statistics, hourly electricity usage reached 37,882 megawatts per hours at 12.00 regional time (0900 GMT). At 07.00 regional time, the nation’s power use has reached its lowest point of 27,404 megawatts per hours (0400 GMT).
On Saturday, electricity output totaled 807,307 megawatts per hours, down 4.31 percent from the previous day.
Hydropower factories contributed by 24.28 percent of total electricity output, whereas natural gas and lignite factories constituted by 17.95 percent and 14.08 percent, correspondingly.
