(MENAFN) In a declaration, Turkiye's Foreign Ministry warned its residents living in the US to prevent rallies with wide participation for their safety.
The ministry stated the US security units take restrictions against gatherings that may take place in large rallies, but further remembered some violent actions in the past in which real missiles, electroshocks, and tear gas were used.
It advised to avoid large gatherings and events unless necessary, seeing the probability of exposure to violence in such events that are hard to be kept under control.
The ministry as well called for Turkish residents to prevent rallies, keep a low profile, avoid demonstrations, and notify their relatives of their location and follow the media news for immediate changes.
