Inflation threats Boris Johnson's power

(MENAFN) According to a recent poll, United Kingdom Prime Minister Boris Johnson is likely to lose the nation’s next election unless he can persuade voters that his party has the necessary leadership to address the country's inflation issue, which is eroding people's standard of living.

Only 24 percent of Britons think Johnson's Conservatives are the best party to deal with the inflation situation, according to a poll done by Savanta ComRes for the Daily Mail and released on Saturday, whereas 39 percent think the opposition Labour Party is. The study found that dealing with rising costs is going to be the top election topic, with 90 percent of respondents saying it would influence their vote.
