US self-assured Turkiye's worries 'can be addressed' since Finland, Sweden will join NATO

(MENAFN) US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan expressed sureness that Turkiye's "concerns can be addressed" since Finland and Sweden look for joining NATO.

Sullivan was certain in his opinion that Ankara's needs would be achieved, in addition to that the Nordic nations "will have an effective and efficient accession process" to the transatlantic association.

Sullivan informed journalists at the White House "Finland and Sweden are working directly with Turkey to do this, but we're also talking to the Turks to try to help facilitate," adding "I expect these differences will be settled. I expect that NATO will speak with one voice and support of Finland and Sweden at the end of the day."

The Nordic nations are trying to become a part of NATO within Russia's current conflict on Ukraine.
