Warm tweet, compensations to be given for families of dead employees


(MENAFN) At an Indian salt manufacture site, twelve employees were murdered following a wall fell on them from a 3-meter-high, as reported by the regimen officials.

The accident occurred in the area of Morbi in the western city of Gujarat. Police forces have released a search and an investigation. Rahul Tripathi, the police chief of the town, stated, "The wall collapsed when the workers were packing the salt and trapped them.” Adding, "Bodies of 12 workers were removed from under the debris. One worker is injured and is hospitalized."

Brijesh Merja, the labor minister of Gujarat, said to the journalists that efforts are being made to find and save other employees who might be still underneath the collapsed wall. Narendra Modi, the PM, tweeted about the accident saying it is "heart-rending" and his bureau noted that families of the dead workers are going to have compensation.
