Turkish FM joins forums in New York


(MENAFN) According to the Foreign Ministry, The Turkish foreign minister will start a four days’ trip to New York to join a worldwide meeting regarding immigration.

Based on a ministry declaration, Mevlut Cavusoglu is going to visit to New York “to attend the first-ever International Migration Review Forum (IMRF) within the margins of the UN General Assembly.”

Furthermore, Cavusoglu is going to join the Global Food Security Call to Action ministerial conference to be held by US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and have two-sided conferences, the declaration also read.

Moreover, the two ministers will “hold the first Foreign Ministers-level meeting of the Turkiye-US Strategic Mechanism,” and Cavusoglu will likely see members of the Turkish-American public in New York too.
