Renault plans about 100pct electric cars

(MENAFN) Renault’s strategy to remove dispersed electric car as well as combustion engine commerce is not setting goal at upsetting its international association with Nissan Motor as well as Mitsubishi Motors, as stated by the car manufacture’s CEO.

Luca de Meo, the firm’s CEO from 2 years, had a commerce trip to Japan then he announced, “The best thing I can do is actually propose ideas in a way that shows I’m not here to screw Nissan or the alliance.”

Although, De Meo’s plan of making a unit devoted for EVs based in France, part of which is to make Renault 100 percent electric by 8 years, is putting burden on his Japanese companions to decide whether to bet on Renault’s upcoming position as an EV maker or its legacy commerce. Such a transformational renovate may include a reforming of capital ties, with the probable sale of part of Renault’s 43 percent share in Nissan involved.
