Doha: Community College of Qatar (CCQ), in cooperation with the University of Doha for Science and Technology (UDST) and Qatar Aeronautical Academy, organised a webinar entitled“Student Expectation Post-Pandemic”. It explored the changes in students' expectations and the efforts made by teachers and educational institutions to keep pace with these changes.

The webinar hosted Professor Krista Jack and Dr. Suhaim Khalaf Al Temimi from UDST, Professor Garry Stephen Wrathall of Qatar Aeronautical Academy, and Professor Sedigh Mohammadi of CCQ.

Masroor Hassan, Head of the English Language Center at CCQ, inaugurated the webinar, which was moderated by Professor Nouha Johnson and Professor Fadi Al Mahawreh.

The webinar discussed a number of important topics, including how to foster a healthy balance between physical and digital learning in the everyday classroom, and efforts made by educational institutions to meet the needs of new students, in addition to the trends of higher education institutions in Qatar compared to other educational institutions in the West.

It is worth noting that the CCQ's English Language Center held the second International English Language Teaching Symposium in March 2022 on how teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic has altered the outlook and approaches to learning and teaching English.

This is part of the Center's continuous endeavour to achieve academic excellence in line with the College's student-centred educational approach.
