QNB Organises Introductory Training For School Students

Doha: QNB, the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, organised a four-day workshop for the students of Qatar Banking Studies and Business Administration Secondary school, which took place in QNB Mathaf Building with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of banking.

The Learning and Development Department at QNB held the 4-day introductory course for 60 students from grades 11 and 12 of the school, which came in line with the group's efforts of supporting Qatari youth.

The purpose of the course was to introduce the various departments of the bank to the students and share with them the idea that working in a bank is not limited to customer service branches, but has many other varied divisions and departments that require different skills and competencies. 

The training course came as an initiative to raise awareness within the Qatari youth about the importance of choosing a job that suits their skills and abilities in order to achieve their professional success.

Each representative speaker explained the nature of work in each of the departments, from Human Resources, to Learning and Development, to Group Operations, and Group Communication. 

During the event, the students were provided with the chance to interact with each speaker and ask questions regarding the different departments in QNB.
