Moderate Weather Forecast For Weekend

Amman, May 19 (Petra) -- Moderate weather conditions are forecast to prevail on Thursday in most parts of the Kingdom, while it will be relatively hot in the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and Aqaba, with northwesterly moderate winds, the Jordan Meteorological Department (JMD) said in its daily update.
On Friday, a slight rise in temperatures is expected, bringing relatively hot weather countrywide, with northeasterly winds that will turn into northwesterly moderate to brisk in the afternoon.
Saturday will see another rise in mercury levels, with similar weather conditions prevailing in most regions. Clouds will appear at high altitudes, and winds will be southeasterly moderate, picking up at times.
Temperatures in Amman today will range between a high of 30 degrees Celsius and a low of 15C, while the port city of Aqaba will see a high of 37C during the day, sliding to 22C at night.
