News agency puts paintball scene instead of military


(MENAFN) Reuters, the news agency giant, has gotten to be the aim of online mockery following its posting for an article about the Russian war on Ukraine with a picture of apparently a “paintball” scene.

The article was launched, noting that Ukrainian militaries had ban Russian army in Sumy area, with the title reading: “Ukrainian border guards repelled an incursion by a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group in the northeastern region of Sumy on Monday, the governor of the Sumy region said.”

Meanwhile, not only the news in the article made the eyes of consumers online, but also the picture put in it. The picture, which was put by them in order to embody Ukrainian militaries combating on the war zone, however, when it is focused on, it is a crew who apparently playing paintball, prepared with the equipped masks as well as paintball weapons.
