Deputy Amir Chairs QU Board Of Trustees Meeting

His Highness the Deputy Amir Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad Al-Thani, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Qatar University (QU), chaired the third meeting of the Board of Trustees for the academic year (2021-2022), which was held Monday at the Amiri Diwan.
At the outset of the meeting, the Board reviewed what has been implemented of its decisions and recommendations taken during the first meeting of the academic year 2021-2022. It also discussed the topics on its agenda and took appropriate decisions, including the approval of a proposal to amend the academic year 2022-2023 calendar.

The approved also approved the establishment of a sub-specialization program in taxation at the College of Business and Economics, in addition to approving the establishment of a specialization program in aeronautical engineering at the College of Engineering.
