Amir And Slovenian President Issue Joint Press Statement

Doha: The Amir H H Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani affirmed that his talks with HE Borut Pahor, President of the Republic of Slovenia, were constructive and would contribute to the development of relations between the two countries at various levels, especially in the fields of politics, economy, trade, energy, infrastructure and tourism.

In his joint press statements with the Slovenian President at the Presidential Palace in the capital Ljubljana today morning, May 16, 2022, Amir said that he discussed with the President during the talks the latest developments in regional and international events, especially the latest developments in Europe and the Middle East.

For his part, the Slovenian President welcomed His Highness the Amir, expressing his happiness at receiving him and the accompanying delegation, looking forward to the positive results of Amir's visit, hoping to develop and strengthen bilateral relations at various levels.

The President also praised the development of joint friendship and cooperation relations in various aspects, reviewing the Slovenian-Qatari partnership in various fields and looking forward to developing it to broader horizons, especially with the promising investment opportunities for the two countries and cooperation in the field of energy.
