Turkey’s BIST 100 index open week fixed
(MENAFN) On Monday, Turkey’s main share index started at 2,419.93 points, slightly increased by 0.70 point, or 0.03 percent, from the prior end.
Borsa Istanbul's BIST 100 index had increased 1.18 percent on Friday to end at 2,419.23 points with a day-to-day exchange volume of 31.8 billion Turkish liras (USD2 billion).
The US dollar/Turkish lira trading rate surged to 15.5000 at 09.45 AM local time (0645GMT), from 15.4700 at last week's end.
The euro/lira trading rate was at 16.1200 compared to 16.0350, whereas a British pound exchanged for 18.9580 liras, dropping from 18.9090 at the previous end.
Brent crude oil was traded for about USD110 for each barrel at 09.42 AM local time, whereas an ounce price of gold stood at USD1,804.34.
