Jordan, Bosnia Discuss Trade

Amman, May 15 (Petra) -- The Jordan and Amman chambers of industry on Sunday discussed developing trade relations with the Minister of Economy in Sarajevo Canton and the possibility of signing a free trade agreement between Jordan and Bosnia.
During the 2022 Sarajevo Business Forum, member of the Jordan Chamber of Industry's Board of Directors Tamim Qasrawi highlighted the challenges that the industry sector faces in the Kingdom and the ramifications of the coronavirus pandemic and the Russian-Ukrainian war on supply chains, in addition to ways of maintaining the strategic industrial reserve, calling for leveraging investment opportunities in Jordan.
President of the Jordan and Bosnia Association for Friendship and Business Anas Niroukh stressed the importance of the Jordanian delegation's participation in the forum to promote business in the Kingdom.
On the sidelines of the forum, meetings were held with the Bosnian Ministry of Investment, representatives of Macedonia's government, the Bosnia and Herzegovina Chamber of Commerce, and many municipalities as well as investors.
