40,000 census takers expect to arrive in KSA's cities, villages

(MENAFN) After delays caused by the coronavirus, Saudi Arabians conducted part in the national census on Tuesday.

Citizens and permanent residents can participate in the census either online or by having a census taker visit them at home or at a registered office.

The General Authority for Statistics stated that canvassing addresses for the census, which began on January 26 and finished on March 10, was completed satisfactorily.

All "occupied and unoccupied housing units are numbered and linked" with the head of household during address canvassing. A team of over 14,000 workers gathered preliminary data to ensure the census included every residence.
