Lower House Deputy Speaker, Saudi Envoy Seek Further Cooperation

Amman, May 4 (Petra)-- Lower House Deputy Speaker Ahmad Safadi stressed the strong ties that bring together Jordan and Saudi Arabia and voiced Jordan's keenness to advance them.
Safadi made his remarks as he met, on Wednesday, with Saudi Ambassador Nayef al-Sudairi at Riyadh's embassy in Amman, adding that 'What brings Jordan and Saudi Arabia together in terms of common issues and interests, and deep-rooted ties, motivates us to strengthen joint cooperation in all fields, and to maintain coordination and consultation to serve the interests of the two brotherly peoples and the issues of our Arab and Islamic nations.'
Al-Sudairi praised the deeply-rooted ties between the two countries, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Majesty King Abdullah II.
