Lawrence Lee Edwards better known as Omega is an young artist, actor, film producer, and mogul in the entertainment industry from St.Louis, Missouri. He began his rise after his first major role as an ravanger on Marvel's blockbuster franchise“Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 2”. Shortly after his role in Guardians he than began working on his own project with co-creator Kent Bernhard“Street Runnners” starring myself, Benzino, Christian Middleton, and others. The web series got accepted into Kansas City Film Festival International where the project won The Rick Conway Award for“Best Cinematic Heartland Locations”.
Shortly after Omega's success with film he started steering more to the music industry. He debut with his hit single“On Me” shot by Torrey Production in his hometown North St.Louis. With the support of other influencers from St.Louis one being his mentor and former member of the legendary St.Lunatics (Slo Down) he quickly got attention of radio personality Kelocc G from 105.1 The Streetz.
Once Kelocc got hold of his work he began spreading word about the young artist on his show.“On Me” music video start getting traction FAST! The CEO team from South Memphis ran by former CMG artist Zedzilla and Jay Fetti Kang gravitated to St.Louis rapper instantly. They all collaborate on a track on Omega's debut album“Real N*gga Poetry” called“That's How That Go”.
With another hot track circulating Omega also continue to thrive in Kansas City by teaming up with local director Aaron Dougherty to be apart of his upcoming feature film“The Best Day Of Your Life” starring Alan Dougherty, Benzino, Kyle Ament, and Chicago Comedian Mike Samp.
Omega took his talents to Kansas City music scene as he connected with one of KC's top producer Tree On Da Slaps. The two worked on a single called“Riches To Rags” that created a powerful buzz. Former producer from Derrty Ent Darrylbeats contacted Omega and became his manager. Stay tuned to see what this young hot artist coming with in 2022.
