NATO carries on with support of Georgia's territorial integrity - special rep

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 11. NATO does not recognize the legitimacy of 'presidential election' which took place on Sunday in the Georgia's Tskhinvali region (South Ossetia), Javier Colomina, NATO Special Representative for the Caucasus and Central Asia, said, Trend reports via his Twitter publication.

“NATO does not recognize the legitimacy of the elections which took place on Sunday in the Georgian region of South Ossetia [Tskhinvali]. The Alliance continues to support Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity within its internationally recognized borders,” Colomina wrote.

Meanwhile, the so-called“presidential election” was held in Georgia's Tskhinvali region on April 10, 2022.
