Iran’s Bushehr province exports registers rise of 66 percent


(MENAFN) According to an Iranian provincial official announcement, the export worth from Bushehr province located towards the southwest of the country jumped 66 percent in the period from March 21, 2021 to February 19, 2022 of the present Iranian calendar year, in comparison to the corresponding time frame in the previous year.

Behrouz Qarebeygi, the director-general of the province’s customs administration, stated that 23.309 million tons of commodities valued at USD8.928 billion were exported from the region during the mentioned time frame, demonstrating also four percent expansion regarding weight.

According to the official, petrochemicals and gas condensate were the main exported items, while China, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Turkey, the Netherlands, Pakistan, South Africa, Brazil, and Persian Gulf littoral states were the main exchange partners of the region during the stated time period.
