Ghana Supports Saudi Arabia's Bid to Host World Expo 2030


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Accra, Mar. 05, 2022, SPA-- President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo of the Republic of Ghana has received the Advisor at the Saudi Royal Court Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan and the accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, Qattan conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, to the President, and their best wishes of steady progress and prosperity for the government and people of the Republic of Ghana.
In turn, the President extended his greetings and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, HRH the Crown Prince and the government and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their support for good relations with Ghana.
During the meeting, they reviewed the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to enhance them in various fields to serve the aspirations of the two countries, in addition to discussing the latest regional and international developments and issues of common interest.
Also during the meeting, President Addo affirmed Ghana's support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's bid to host the Expo 2030 in Riyadh, while Adviser Qattan expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this support, which reflects the strong relations between the two countries.
