Saudi - SFD CEO Receives First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyz Republic


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) Riyadh, Feb. 28, 2022, SPA -- The CEO of the Saudi Fund for Development (SFD) Sultan bin Abdul Rahman Al-Murshed received at the headquarters of his organization here today a Kyrgyz Republic delegation headed by First Deputy Prime Minister Arzybek Kogoshev, in the presence of the Kyrgyz Ambassador to the Kingdom Olukbek Maripov.
During the meeting, issues of common interest and the existing development projects extended by the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Kyrgyzstan through SFD were discussed. The meeting also addressed the challenges facing the progress of development projects in the Kyrgyz Republic.
For his part, Kogoshev expressed sincere gratitude for the Kingdom's permanent support for development projects in Kyrgyzstan, and in particular, praising the efforts of SFD in financing development projects and programs over decades, citing their positive impact on social and economic growth and prosperity in various development sectors.
It is noteworthy that the number of projects funded by the Saudi Fund for Development in the Kyrgyz Republic has reached eight in several sectors, including transportation, education, health, water and sanitation, in addition to the provision of a generous grant from the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, extended and managed by SFD, with the aim of equipping a number of medical centers.
