In 2021, Spain's employment market incorporates 840,700 new job vacancies


(MENAFN) The National Institute of Statistics (INE) reported on Thursday that, Spain's employment market incorporated 840,700 new job vacancies in 2021, marking it as the highest since 2005.

As per a published INE assessment, the overall number of individuals employed in the nation hit approximately 20.2 million, which is the maximum amount recorded in 13 years. In the meantime, the rate of unemployed individuals declined by 615,900 people in 2021, to reach 13.33 percent, which is the least amount since 2008.

In 2020, the outbreak of Covid-19 struck all nations, and caused significant damage; specifically on Spain's economy, wiping out 622,000 jobs as well as putting approximately 528,000 people out of work.
