Al Daayen Municipality, in co-operation with Qatar Charity (QC), participated in the latter's 'Warmth and Peace' campaign by distributing winter bags to municipal workers, the Ministry of Municipality said in a statement.
The campaign was held in the presence of Rashid Mashlash al-Khayareen, director of Al Daayen Municipality; Farid al-Siddiqi and Mohamed Hamed, representatives of QC; Salem al-Mannai, head of the General Cleanliness Department; and Fahad al-Kaabi, head of the Public Parks Department at Al Daayen Municipality. The director of Al Daayen Municipality presented certificates and a shield of honour to Qatar Charity for its keenness to hold events that serve the local community.
