Many people advised to try new COVID antiviral cure

(MENAFN) People aged 50 and above, and younger adults with underlying health conditions were advised to take part of a study of a life-saving cure for epidemic.

The study is open to those who test positive for the virus and had improved symptoms in the last five days.

Based on what Prof Sir Jonathan Van-Tam, the deputy ruler medical officer for England had stated, the study is going to assist in knowing how antiviral medicines are going to be used.

Health Secretary Sajid Javid requested everyone qualified to "step forward" and "help us to learn more about medicines which could save thousands of lives".
