WHO representative: Omicron variant not last variant

(MENAFN) The World Health Organization’s (WHO) special representative, Dr David Nabarro informed Sky News about his cautionary that the epidemic might still cause “challenges and surprises” regardless of the developments made in some parts of the world while facing the virus.

Nabarro, while condemning officials who are reducing the danger of the pandemic, stated they “should not suggest” that COVID-19 must be treated like the flu or that it “has suddenly got incredibly weak.”

Nabarro added “We must go on treating it as though it is full of surprises, very nasty and rather cunning,” saying that while “the end is in sight,” it is not known how long it is “going to take to get there” or “what sort of difficulties” are going to appear while recovering from the epidemic.
