Ukraine asks Germany to provide it with weaponries

(MENAFN) On Monday, Ukraine’s ambassador to Turkey stated that Germany’s cautious policy towards Russia has to be “reconsidered.” Vasyl Bodnar referred to the great collaboration among Turkey and Germany, while talking to Anadolu Agency, reporting that they “do not understand (Berlin’s) behavior.”

His insights took place after the German navy chief presented his resignation following provocative commentary on Ukraine. Vice Adm. Kai-Achim Schoenbach stated that Russia doesn’t plan on occupying Ukraine, and that Russia’s president Vladimir Putin must be respected.

Bodnar reported that Ukraine is "working closely with Germany on hospitals, support of military medicine, on implementation of some projects in Ukraine, supporting reforms." He added, “So objectively speaking, we do not understand their behavior.”
