India’s smartphone industry recovers with new record-high deliveries

(MENAFN) The smartphone industry in India recovered powerfully in the past year and developed 12 percent from 2020, stated research company Canalys.

The producers of smartphones transported a new record high of 162 million phones in 2021, in spite of a rough January as the nation encountered a new wave of Coronavirus spread and dealt with disturbances in the supply chain, reported the company.

On Monday, Canalys declared in a statement, “Following a strong comeback in Q3, smartphone vendors shipped 44.5 million devices in Q4 for 2 percent growth, despite a challenging supply chain.”

China’s smartphone producers topped the first five places in best makers of 2021, as Xiaomi firm lead them to the top.
