Qatar - DFI announces drive-in cinema themed 'Finding Your Way'

Doha Film Institute (DFI) released its line-up for the drive-in cinema set from January 27 to 29 in Lusail. This week's theme is entitled“Finding Your Way” series where three movies are featured.

On January 27, Finding Nemo directed by Andrew Stanton will be screened. Released in 2003, this animated adventure film is a story about Marlin, a clownfish who is overly cautious with his son, Nemo who has a foreshortened fin. 

The movie won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature and it stars voices of Albert Brooks, Ellen DeGeneres, Alexander Gould, and Willem Dafoe.

Finding Dory, meanwhile will be screened on January 28, also directed by Andrew Stanton. 

The 2016 film is the spin-off sequel to Finding Nemo. The film focuses on Dory who suffers from memory loss every 10 seconds or so who journeyed to be reunited with his parents. With help from her friends Nemo and Marlin, Dory embarks on an epic journey to find them. 

Wonder movie will be screened on January 29 which is directed by Stephen Chbosky. The 2017 coming-of-age drama film is based on the 2012 novel of the same name written by R. J. Palacio. It follows a boy named Auggie Pullman who has a Treacher Collins syndrome. 

All movies are priced for QR150 each and tickets can be purchased via DFI's website. Screening time for the three films are set at 7pm.
