Predictions for Kuwait to register USD10B deficit


(MENAFN) Based on a news agency statement that referred to the Kuwaiti Ministry of Finance, on Monday, the ministry put forward a budget draft report for 2022-2023 fiscal year, with a predicted deficit of 3.1 billion dinars (USD10.26 billion), dropping by 74.2 percent from the past year.

The report also mentioned that the OPEC member nations predicts crude oil income of 16.7 billion dinars in the fiscal year that ends in March 2023, a raise of 83.4 percent from 2021-2022.

Overall profits are anticipated to stand at 18.8 billion dinars and expenses at 21.9 billion dinars in the 2022-2023 fiscal year.
