NATO assigns extra vessels to eastern Europe during Ukraine-Russia issue
(MENAFN) The pentagon allegedly stated that American president Joe Biden sends a number or about 5,000 extra forces to Eastern Europe.
Ukraine wasn’t affected by the deployment; which Washington states is encountering Russia’s invasion threat. However, Russia denounced these claims numerous times.
NATO declared it is keeping its forces on the position of standby and assigning extra vessels and fighter jets to the places of the union’s placement in Eastern Europe. As the EU’s report includes, the step was supported by Russia’s presumed "military build-up in and around Ukraine".
NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg mentioned, “NATO will continue to take all necessary measures to protect and defend all Allies, including by reinforcing the eastern part of the Alliance. We will always respond to any deterioration of our security environment, including through strengthening our collective defence.”
