Kuwait gives proposals to solve Lebanon-Gulf confrontation

(MENAFN) Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Ahmed Nasser al-Mohammad al-Sabah stated he gave proposals to Lebanon to fix its argument with the Gulf nations.

the minister said in a press session after discussing with Lebanese Leader Michel Aoun in Beirut “I carry a message of suggested measures and ideas for rebuilding confidence with Lebanon.”

The Kuwaiti minister, though, did not offer fine points on the proposals for fixing barriers amid Lebanon and the Gulf.

Sheikh Ahmed stated Lebanon "must not be a launching pad for verbal or actual attacks".

The Kuwaiti minister’s visit is the first by a Gulf official to Lebanon from the time when a political disaster exploded in October after disapproval of the Yemen battle by then-Information Minister George Kordahi.
