Riyadh hosts Saudi-Iraqi gathering for top business officials


(MENAFN) On Sunday, the head of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council highlighted the significance of ties and mutual interests between the Saudi and Iraqi capital cities, particularly in the commercial and investment sectors.

According to Abdulrahman bin Ahmed Al-Harbi, who is also the governor of the General Authority for Foreign Trade statement “the Kingdom, under the leadership of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, attaches great importance to relations with Iraq and the establishment of the Saudi-Iraqi Coordination Council is meant to strengthen the historical relations between the two countries in all fields.”

Based on a statement published by Saudi Press Agency, the secretary-general statement was released a day before the country held the Saudi-Iraqi Business Forum and Council in its capital, Riyadh.
