(MENAFN) The American State Department asked families of the embassy’s personnel in Ukraine to begin with departing the nation not later than Monday, mentioned media reports.
On Saturday, Fox News mentioning American executives, reported that the State Department anticipated to entice American nationals on departing Ukraine next week by commercial flights as they are "still available".
A representative for the State Department stated in an interview with by Anadolu Agency regarding the reports, “We have nothing to announce at this time.”
The representative added, “We conduct rigorous contingency planning, as we always do, in the event the security situation deteriorates.”
Adding, “If there is a decision to change our posture with respect to American diplomats and their families, American citizens should not anticipate that there will be US government-sponsored evacuations," and "currently commercial flights are available to support departures."
