America, Japan agree to fight Russian escalation of border crisis

(MENAFN) On Friday morning, the American president Joe Biden had an online meeting with the Japanese prime minister Fumio Kishida in order to talk about regional security matters which include China and North Korea, exchange problems, and the continuous issue on Ukraine’s border with Russia.

Both presidents conformed to sit in person at a later time in 2022, however, the official meeting would rely on health rules during the covid-19 pandemic.

A top executive, who asked to remain anonymous, stated that both presidents debated the escalating issues driven by Russian military backlog on its border with Ukraine.

The executive reported that the Japanese president “made clear that Japan would be fully behind the United States” if it did any action regarding a probable Russian invasion of Ukraine.
