US carrier strike factions to come under NATO order for Mediterranean implementation


(MENAFN) According to the ruler of the association, The USS Harry S. Truman carrier strike faction is going to come under NATO order for the Neptune Strike exercise in the Mediterranean.

Jens Stoltenberg shared in a Twitter post "A strong sign of transatlantic unity," and wrote "NATO will always do what is necessary to protect and defend all Allies”.

Pentagon spokesperson John Kirby stated the exercise is going to start as of Monday and till February 4.

Kirby added the carrier strike group is going to be at the center of the exercise, that was scheduled for a long time and said that in the exercise, synchronized activities like naval planned exercises of NATO associates, training against submarines and long-range assault training is going to be started.
