Space Capital earns billions of dollars through private investment in 2021


(MENAFN) According to research conducted by the New York-based corporation Space Capital, space infrastructure businesses earned billions of dollars in private investment in 2021. The finances increased by over 50 percent since last year, reaching a new high of USD14.5 billion.

The last quarter of 2021 drew in USD4.3 billion; courtesy to "mega-rounds" for USD250 million or more by Sierra Space, Elon Musk's SpaceX, and Planet Labs, following a milestone during the third quarter for man spaceflight.

Since 2012, Space Capital has monitored 1,694 firms spanning throughout three space classifications, infrastructure, distribution, and application; which collected almost USD253 billion in worldwide equity investments.
