Jordan - Interior minister, Qatari PM talk cooperation

Amman, Jan. 20 (Petra) -- Minister of Interior Mazen Faraya Thursday discussed with the Qatari Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz Al Thani boosting cooperation, particularly in the security field.
Faraya had made a visit to Qatar following an invitation by the Qatari premier for consultations on a number of issues of common interest and to attend the graduation ceremony of the fourth class of the Qatari Ministry of Interior's Police College candidates.
During the meeting, the two officials stressed the need to push forward in expanding joint cooperation and coordination, namely in the security and economic areas.
Faraya also underscored that the Jordanian-Qatari ties are 'continuously evolving' due to the support of the two countries' leaders and their commitment to achieving common interests.
