European stock exchanges end Wednesday’s session mixed


(MENAFN) On Wednesday, European stock exchanges ended with mixed figures following a robust sell-off in the last session.

The STOXX Europe 600, which has about 90 percent of the market capitalization of the European stock exchange in 17 nations, jumped 1.11 points, or 0.23 percent, to 480.90.

The UK's FTSE 100 index ended at 7,589.66, increasing by 26.11 points, or 0.35 percent. Germany's DAX 30 jumped by 0.24 percent, adding 37.16 points to 15,809.72. France's CAC 40 climbed 0.55 percent, or 39.15 points, to reach 7,172.98 points.

In the meantime, Italy's FTSE MIB decreased by 112.43 points, or 0.41 percent, to 27,370.85, and IBEX 35 dropped by 6.7 points, or 0.08 percent, to 8,774.9.
