Global crude costs fall due to supply disturbances


(MENAFN) International crude oil costs value fell on Thursday after reaching record highs on the preceding day that have not been recorded since 2014.

On Wednesday, international benchmark Brent crude reached as much as USD89.17, driven by short-term, international supply disturbances.

On Thursday, Brent was exchanging at USD88.30 for one barrel at 0557 GMT for a 0.15 percent fall after ending the past session at USD88.44 per barrel.

American benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) amounted at USD85.92 for one barrel at the same time for a 1.19 percent drop after exchange in the last session closed at USD86.96 per barrel.
