(MENAFN) According to the deputy head of Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) announcement, Iran’s worth of yearly non-oil export is predicted to hit USD46 billion towards the end of the present Iranian calendar year (March 20).
Foroud Asgari, the deputy head of IRICA for technical affairs, stated that the export of non-oil goods has been accelerated from the sixth Iranian calendar month of Shahrivar (ended on September 22, 2021), so it is forecasted that the number is going to hit USD46 billion towards the end of the year.
IRICA has formerly declared that Iran’s non-oil trade worth amounted at USD73 billion during the previous Iranian calendar year.
IRICA former Head Mehdi Mir-Ashrafi had set the volume of non-oil trade at 146.4 million tons and stated that the number demonstrated a 25-million-ton yearly decrease, which is the outcome of penalties and Covid-19 pandemic.
