Iran, Iraq chambers of commerce look for ways to settle business disputes


(MENAFN) On Monday, the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce organized a Joint Economic and Trade Conference for the Iranian and Iraqi chambers of commerce, in which both parties inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for creating an arbitration hub for settling business issues.

According to the ICCIMA portal, the conference was joined by chief officials from both countries involving Head of the Federation of Iraqi Chambers of Commerce Abdul Razzaq al- Zuhairi and Head of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) Gholam-Hossein Shafeie.

Head of Iran-Iraq Joint Chamber of Commerce Yahya Al-e-Eshaq, as well as Head of the Iranian Parliament’s Economic Committee Mohammadreza Pour-Ebrahimi were also amongst the individuals who attended this gathering.
