(MENAFN- The Conversation) PhD Candidate, University of Technology Sydney Profile Articles Activity

Muthe is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). His research is broadly on energy data analytics, electricity markets, energy economics, and energy/sustainable finance. His current research examines and addresses the potential impact of increasing amounts of intermittent renewable energy on the electricity spot price dynamics and electricity generation mix in Australia's National Electricity Market (NEM). It also explores the nexus between green energy with greenhouse gas emissions, as well as climate change and financial risk. And proposes market and energy policy reforms to support the integration of intermittent renewables into the grid.

Muthe's research provides insight into both the existing benefits of renewables and investments that policymakers, governments, and private investors can make to both seize the opportunities and minimize the threats from additional renewables.

One of his latest works was published in the Energy Economics journal, a premier peer-reviewed journal in the realm of energy economics and energy finance.
