Goranboy regional prosecutor's office launches investigation into resident hitting mine

On January 18, the Goranboy regional prosecutor's office received information that Vugar Mammadov, born in 1996, was blown up by an anti-personnel mine near the village of Tapgaragoyunlu in the Goranboy region, the regional prosecutor's office told Trend on Tuesday.

Prosecutors examined the scene, a forensic medical examination was ordered, and other procedural actions were performed.

It was established that as a result of a mine explosion, the leg of Vugar Mammadov was amputated.

The Goranboy regional prosecutor's office is investigating the fact.
