World parliament speakers, members condemn Houthi militia attack on civil facilities in UAE

CAPITALS, 18th January, 2022 (WAM) -- Speakers and members of national parliaments from around the world have condemned the terrorist Houthi attacks on civil facilities and areas in the UAE, which led to the death of a number of civilians.

They also expressed their deepest condolences to the UAE and the families of the victims, and wished the injured a speedy recovery.

The list included Angelo Frogia, Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliament of Malta; Margarita Restrepo, President of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace and Member of the Colombian parliament; Taulant Balla, Group Majority Leader at the Parliament of Albania; Senator Verónica Delgadillo García, Member of the Senate of Mexico; Marjorie Chávez, Member of the National Assembly of Ecuador; Walberto Allende, Member of the National Congress of Argentina; as well as members of the parliaments of Costa Rica, Guatemala, Haiti, Côte d'Ivoire, Spain, North Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and Ethiopia.
