Egyptian president emphasises Egypt's standing by UAE against Houthi attacks in phone call with Mohamed bin Zayed

ABU DHABI, 18th January, 2022 (WAM) -- His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, received a phone call from Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, who stressed Egypt's strong condemnation and denunciation of the terrorist attacks against civil facilities in the UAE.

He affirmed Egypt's support for the UAE and its rejection of any threat to its security or stability.

During the call, President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi affirmed Egypt's support for the UAE in all the measures and steps it takes to ensure its security and sovereignty in the face of the sinful Houthi aggression that violates all international laws and norms.

Al Sisi underlined the strong link between the security and stability of the UAE and the Egyptian national security, noting the historical relations binding the two brotherly countries and their peoples.

President Al-Sisi also offered his condolences to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed over the victims of the Houthi terrorist attacks, wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.

For his part, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Egyptian President for his sincere brotherly stances and feelings towards the UAE and its people, praying to God Almighty to protect Egypt and its people from all harms and evils.
